Will Mumford, who farms near Grafham Water in Cambridgeshire, has left bare patches in the field to spell out his wife Emma’s name. The field is on a slight hill facing the cycle-path that goes around the reservoir. Each letter is over 12-metres high and clearly visible to everybody on the path.
Will used Trimble Autosteer GPS-technology to create the letters. “The equipment did all the hard work. I just had to program it in. Using Emma’s name just made it more personal.”
